A few weeks reflecting on our call begins with Isaiah's reminder that God calls us by name. God also redeems us.
Some initial thoughts about God knowing us by name.
1. It could be a bit terrifying for God to know us by name. Sometimes it is safer to keep a low profile and not be noticed. If God knows us by name, what expectations might God have for us?
2. Do we have to claim this relationship? If God knows us by name, do we have to accept that kind of intimate relationship?
3. Our sense of call begins with God calling us by name.
